First, lets talk about things everyone needs to know when talking to a concrete contractor. Not one concrete mixing
company  guarantees their concrete mix... Due to the fact that a concrete contractor can put too much water in the
mix before they pour it out of their mixing  truck &  that's not their  fault.  In that case it would fall on the finishing
company.
Second, the concrete finishing contractor (Hayes Concrete) doesn't have a guarantee on the concrete either. We get
our concrete premixed by concrete plants and all the plants have batch computers. Sometimes the batch
computers can get off calibrated,  which could put too much sand , Portland cement or water into a batch. It could
also cause just the opposite, not enough sand, Portland cement & water.  Another thing that concrete finishing
companies have no control over is that drivers can have their water valve turned on while driving the concrete batch
to your project site. They have also brought  what is known as  " hot mud " out to concrete projects. Hot mud is what
occurs when old concrete is left on the truck from a previous job and is mixed with the new batch that is being
brought out to a new project.

Third " there is always a potential for cracking, but we do everything to ensure that it doesn't ."
by putting control joints in the concrete where we think the most stressed point(s) are. Where there is a stress point
in the concrete we put either an grooved, key way, expansion or sawed joint(s) to ensure that the concrete will have
it's most life.  And last  Hayes Concrete is not responsible for bad weather or conditions after bad weather, if we are
in bad weather  while in the middle of your job. We ask that you would be patient for the job to dry and pour it
properly. Pouring on wet ground will push the stakes and forms out of square, and this would apply to monolithic
(building) slabs. To prevent the concrete from cracking with in day(s) , we only pour with  24 hours(over night) of
above 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
